Kappa Kgr46n Garda Top Case Black Line

I ordered this case recently and it arrived in Australia in 6 days from ordering. I mounted this top box on a 2016 F800gs using a givi monokey universal aluminium rack. I had to drill a few holes and make a small bracket but no problem. I picked this case over the Givi trekker outback 42l case that I normally choose to mount mostly because it saves me almost 3kg of weight..that is centred quite high. It is not aluminium but it feels very sturdy nonetheless. I like the fact it has 3 shutting mechanisms. It requires locking for the key to be removed but the centre latch need not be secured so it can still be fastened with the 2 side latches. Negates the need to use the key all of the time to open the box. It has a good rubber seal that keeps water and dust out. Just make sure it's seated properly. Mine needed a small adjustment. It also has lashing cutouts at the rear of the box to strap gear on top of the box without paying for the optional top rack. Only negative I can see so far is the carry handle is quite sharp underneath and not very ergonomic..but it's a very small gripe. Very happy overall. Oustanding service from MotorStorm as usual.
