Kappa Kgr46 Garda

This top case has a nice rugged adventure style to it. The case was made with thick plastic walls and having good, thick rubber seals to keep water from entering it. In fact, I prefer this Kappa design more than the similar Givi trk46 case.

I purchased one to use as a top case. I can fit a full face helmet plus a little more inside. I have had a slight problem with it leaking in heavy rain but I use waterproof bags anyway. The latch was a little tough to open and close at first but eventually broke in nicely.

I've attempted to find replacement seals to no avail. Kappa simply will not sell them to you. There are at least DIY alternatives that still keep the trunk waterproof. It's a perfect size, and works well for carrying plenty of gear. It also fits the style of my Ducati hyperstrada.

This is a great top case and will hold a helmet with a few other things. I busted my top case from Givi and the Kappa line is the same quality as Givi and mix and match well with that line of cases too.

Good overal quality for affordable price. I have not tried them yet in wet conditions but I hope the seals will hol any amount of rain. A better alternative to GIVI. The plastic quality is good too. AA+
