Givi V47n

I had this top case on my old V-Strom 650. It's sturdy, nice looking, and can hold a lot of cargo. I was able to store it two full face Arai helmets size M in it, or my helmet and a jacket, with some extra room left. The only two complaints are with the aluminum top (delicate, it got dented during a hail storm), and the plate (quite loose attachment, I had to come up with some custom rubber feet to stop the rattling).

I bought this Givi V47n case for my Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS. It fits nicely on the back of the bike and is large enuf to hold items I need for my commute to work and then my helmet while I'm at work. I also use it for shopping and running errands. I highly recommend it.

I bought this case to use when commuting as well as longer road trips. I'm riding my Tiger more as a touring bike than an off-road adventure bike, so this case works great! I got the optional back rest and light kit. Back rest goes on easily. The light kit is a bit a challenge as the instructions are very limited. Search the internet and you can find some videos and on light kit installation, which will help greatly. Also, get a real wire connector to hook up the light kit wires to the bike as the supplied connector doesn't work well.

The Givi Box makes makes the GSX1400 more streamline and with the other extras brake lights and lid opening remote it's less of a struggle to find the key to pop the lid with the brake lights I feel a bit safer knowing there's a bit more red light happening in the car drivers eyes, one little thing witch I found a grate improvement is the rubber lid seal good for placing the remote pick up wire under, this my 5th over the years, John. I bought a set of 2 Givi v47n hard cases for use as saddlebags on my old CBR1000F. The key system is a bit odd at first, but once you know what to do it is very easy to use and indeed quite convenient. The guy who bought that bike wasn't willing to pay more for the bags, so I kept them and used one as a top box on my ZRX1100. They are waterproof, versatile, and hold a lot of stuff! Highly recommend to a serious commuter or touring rider if you have the money.

Have purchased 2 of these cases from Motostorm in the last few years for different bikes and they do not dissapoint. Nice fit and finish, waterproof, easy on and off, great locking and mounting system, just all around a great case. Will be buying another. Pricing is great also. Solid buy for your money here.

This can is very roomy and I find the Givi brand to be very reliable. I've also owned a 40 liter model that I commuted with for several years and I never had an issue with it. I would highly recommend making the purchase.
