Givi V47nn

I spent ages looking for a functional, and good looking top case for my Tiger 800 xcx, I settled on the 47l box, as I was worried that the larger box would be too big. Now seeing it all on the bike, i think I made the right choice. It looks good, fits well, does not rattle, and can store a full face helmet, gloves and a thin bike jacket.

The Givi V47 is well worth the money. Items ordered were delivered on time in Australian from Motostrom which was a concern to me. the givi rack was simple to install to my Honda VFR800F 2016 100% satisfied

The Givi 47 litre top box was, for me, a ‘must have’ accessory. Its size is right in the Goldilocks zone: neither too big nor small. For a trip to the city, I can pack my briefcase and suit coat. Once parked, I can easily fit my helmet, bike jacket, gloves and boots inside. It will carry a surprising amount of groceries – so you will no longer have the excuse ‘sorry honey, I can’t to the supermarket on the way home; I’m on the bike’. When empty, its so light, I don’t even know its there. And if you want to remove it completely (I never have) the lockable mounting makes it easy. Overall, it’s a high-quality product that makes my bike more usable – there are simply more occasions when I can take the bike rather than the car. Ordering from Motostorm was, as ever, easy. And delivery – to Australia – was about a week.

I've been using V47NN for a couple of years now and have zero complaints. I was worried that a Maxia would be better, afterall bigger is always better but this has been just fine. In fact I think the Maxia would've been too bulky and looked rather comic on my FJ09. I will say you have to a be a little careful with the seal, otherwise a little water might leak in but I've only had to this happen when the case is packed to the gills and I ride through a real frog strangler.

Have been using this on my VFR800 for almost a year. Luggage never makes a bit look better, but now I can go anywhere, easily lock up my helmet, go shopping, etc. Well worth it. No downside yet. The quick release and lock make it secure, have had the bike at speeds well in excess of what Givi recommends and it has been fine.

Easily fits my large Shoei RF1400, gloves, Helite Turtle vest, and rain jacket with room to spare. Build quality is too notch and all the locking mechanism are nice and tight! I've ridden through many a rain storm and this box keeps everything out.
