Born from the work of GIVI's Research and Development Department, the V49 AIR introduces the patented WINGFLOW system, developed through extensive wind tunnel testing. This innovation significantly reduces vibrations, turbulence, and noise, improving the overall stability of the vehicle and riding comfort, even at high speeds.
The four lateral aerodynamic appendages optimize airflows and limit the vortices generated by the top case, contributing to a smoother and more balanced behavior of the motorcycle. The Monokey® fastening system and the 49-liter capacity allow for the storage of two GIVI XL modular helmets, offering maximum space with minimal bulk.
The lid with a red aesthetic insert and photo-engraved logo enhances the lines with a distinctive and modern touch. The V49 AIR represents a new expression of GIVI's research: advanced aerodynamic performance, solid construction, and contemporary style at the service of travelers.
The main components of the top case are made with 30% recycled material, derived from the recovery of polypropylene plastics and enriched with glass fibers. These materials ensure high construction quality, advanced technical details, and superior mechanical performance, with resistance up to twice as much as other similar recycled materials.

Another great buy from Motostorm. 10 stars for Motostorm and 10 stars for the V49. I bought this top box to replace my 8-year-old V47, which had been dropped several times off the shelf and was cracked and worn out. This new generation of top box is superb. The fit, finish, and function are excellent. It now has a double lock for removing it from the bike, which adds another level of security. You can also set the box to open and close without the key, which is a great feature. With my old V47, every time I stopped, I had to dig for the key to open the box. This new locking system eliminates that. This box also looks much better on my Crosstourer than the V47 did. It flows better, and it flows much better with the bike. Going down the road, it is quiet as a church mouse- zero wind noise; I guess those little air wings on the side actually work. My V47 was always somewhat noisy. This is an awesome medium-sized case for commuting; I can fit my XL Nolan N80, jacket, gloves, and lunch box all with room to spare. I'm very happy with the purchase and the box; great deal from Motostorm.
