For the installation of the turn indicators, the wiring kit is necessary.
In motorcycles equipped with a control light on the instrumentation (only BMW R nine T models from 2017 onwards), to avoid the control light turning on or incorrect flashing frequency, we recommend installing the EE149H resistor kit (3 W – 38 Ω) connected in parallel to the Rizoma indicators.
Attention, since the Rizoma rear indicators with three functions (S series) also cover the functions of rear position light and stop, they can only be mounted in cases where:
- Rizoma has developed a license plate holder kit including a dedicated wiring kit, allowing the elimination of the OEM rear light thanks to the installation of multifunction indicators;
- or, if the motorcycle has standard multifunction indicators, Rizoma has created a dedicated plug&play wiring kit.
Therefore, we always recommend checking the list of products compatible with your motorcycle. Where the S series indicators are not proposed, it means that the possible dedicated license plate holder is not suitable for the removal of the OEM rear light or wiring for the replacement of OEM multifunction indicators is not available.
