With a die-cast aluminum frame and a compact, intuitive shape, the indicator naturally adapts to every motorcycle style, from naked to touring, enhancing its identity. The luminous body with a suspended effect creates a novel geometric balance, enhanced by a lens with a modular micro-pattern: an innovative solution that amplifies the luminous output and gives strong character to the front.
Inside, it concentrates technological excellence and know-how refined over years of development, with an 8 SMD LED structure that guarantees triple luminous functionality (sequential direction indicator, rear position light, stop light) and maximum visibility in minimal bulk.
Completing the design is a rear cover with a dedicated X pattern and a mount equipped with an impact damping system, designed to offer resistance, reliability, and durability over time. The Layer 3 indicator complies with European homologation standards.
The kit includes: (2x) Layer 3 triple-function direction indicators, (2x) rosette and fastening nut kit, (2x) indicator thread cover. Supported by the latest generation SMD LED technology that ensures compliance with European homologation standards.

For the installation of the direction indicators, the wiring kit is necessary.
In motorcycles equipped with a control light on the instrumentation (only BMW R nine T models from 2017 onwards), to avoid the control light turning on or incorrect flashing frequency, we recommend installing the EE149H resistor kit (3 W – 38 Ω) connected in parallel to the Rizoma indicators.
Attention, as the Rizoma triple-function rear indicators also cover the rear position and stop light functions, they can only be mounted in cases where:
- Rizoma has developed a license plate holder kit including a dedicated wiring kit, allowing the removal of the OEM rear light in favor of the multifunction indicators installation;
- or, if the motorcycle comes with standard multifunction indicators, Rizoma has created a dedicated plug&play wiring kit.
Therefore, we always recommend checking the list of products compatible with your motorcycle. Where multifunction indicators are not offered, it means that the dedicated license plate holder is not suitable for the removal of the OEM rear light or wiring for the replacement of OEM multifunction indicators is not available.
