Its shell is made 100% of carbon fiber thanks to our production process, the same one we use to make Formula 1 helmets. This exclusive process allows us to combine excellent shock absorption with minimal weight, enabling us to create the best helmet for motorcyclists who want to ride fast and far.

F1 TECHNOLOGY IN YOUR SPORT TOURING HELMET

The shell of the S3 CARBON helmet is handcrafted entirely from carbon at our SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE facility. The helmets are created by the same highly specialized technicians who produce our Formula 1 helmets. Thanks to manual lamination and autoclave curing processes, the S3 CARBON shell combines extreme lightness with unparalleled technical performance.

ONE MAN, ONE SHELL

The production process of the S3 CARBON helmet revolves around the principle of 'one man, one shell', meaning the same highly specialized technician who starts the lamination process on a helmet is the one who continues it to completion.

AN EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION PROCESS. LIKE NO OTHER.

After the lamination process, the carbon mold is closed, and specialized operators carefully wrap each mold in a vacuum to prepare it for the autoclave curing cycle. The autoclaves, made to specific SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE specifications, generate a proprietary combination of pressure and temperature within a precise timeline. This cycle, lasting up to four hours, transforms the layers of carbon fiber and resin into a monolithic piece, which will become your helmet, offering exceptional mechanical resistance along with unique lightness.

DOUBLE D-RING

The closure system of the SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON is made with a double ring, ensuring the highest level of safety. The same closure system used in Moto GP and Formula 1 is made here with a specific layout and using a magnesium and aluminum alloy to ensure the lightest and safest closure technically possible.

SAFETY FIRST

At SCHUBERTH, safety is our top priority. The S3 CARBON model raises the bar, offering a full-face helmet with ECE-R 22.06 approval, a 100% carbon fiber monocoque shell for better shock absorption and lighter weight. Like the entire range of SCHUBERTH helmets, the S3 also benefits from the Anti-Roll-Off system connected to a chin strap in a new advanced position for greater comfort in the throat area.

SCHUBERTH RESCUE SYSTEM

The S3 CARBON model is equipped with the S.R.S (SCHUBERTH RESCUE SYSTEM), which allows rescue services to remove the cheek pads by pulling the 2 straps, reducing the forces exerted on the motorcyclist's neck, facilitating helmet removal in critical situations, and preventing damage.

OPTIMAL AIRFLOW

Optimal head thermoregulation improves rider comfort and performance. For this reason, the S3 CARBON is designed to combine the significant ventilation of the double chin air intake with a rear spoiler equipped with air exhaust and visible EPS ventilation channels. SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON features a double chin air intake that integrates a washable and replaceable mesh filter for proper breathing during extreme riding conditions. Ergonomic buttons allow easy adjustment of the two variable front air intakes.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

The most advanced technology only for your SCHUBERTH S3. Extremely easy to install, configure, and use, SC2, SC2 Standard, and SC EDGE set a new standard in motorcycle communication. The microphone, HD speakers, and three antennas for FM radio, Bluetooth intercom, and Mesh intercom are already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON. This greatly simplifies the use of communication systems and ensures optimal operation, both in terms of audio quality and aerodynamic impact and noise thanks to the minimized frontal impact.

Thanks to these technologies, the SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON offers an unprecedented level of intercom connections, redefining the concept of a 'communication network'. With Mesh technology, it is now possible to connect up to 16 people in seconds while maintaining excellent quality.

THE BEST VISIBILITY IN ANY CONDITION

The S3 CARBON model is equipped with an integrated sun visor that offers an improved field of view and guarantees protection from intense sun rays and is adjustable thanks to the patented V-lock mechanism. The clear visor is equipped with the latest Pinlock® 120 XLT anti-fog lens, pre-installed; it can also be replaced with a dark, silver mirrored, or yellow visor.

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

The SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON helmet was developed in the same internal wind tunnel where Formula 1 helmets are tested and was then put to the test with numerous road tests. The aeroacoustics of the S3 CARBON have been optimized to achieve the exceptional result of 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked motorcycle.

SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM

The padding of the SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON helmet sets a new benchmark in terms of comfort. The standard padding was developed to offer uncompromising comfort to all our customers, but those with an extraordinary head shape are usually forced to compromise in terms of fit and sizes.

For SCHUBERTH, compromise is not an option, which is why we offer the SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM. A specific program aimed at ensuring maximum comfort for the motorcyclist and allowing the customization of the internal padding with more thickness options for the sides, back, and cheek pads.
