- EN1621-2 Level 2 Back protector
The CE Level 2 approved SEESOFT™ back protector insert is designed to absorb impacts of varying intensity without compromising comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The nitrile and polynorbornene rubber blend is highly impact resistant and forms a memory sponge that is multi-impact rated and CE certified at the highest level (EN1621-2:2014 – level 2).
In the event of a severe angular impact, the individual layers of memory foam will slide together, causing the forces of the impact to be dispersed over a larger area and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back.
Applying a multiple level concept, REV'IT! has developed a flexible back protector insert that has consistent performance in all conditions.

a parter with revit pant, The Rev'it Seesoft back protector insert is lightweight, flexible and comfortable.The Seesoft back protector insert is relatively inexpensive, so even though I'd argue that it should be included in the higher-end Rev'it jackets, it's still a reasonable buy.

Inexpensive, flexible and all round a great product. Used in my Rev'it Concorde jacket, it makes me feel safe without walking around with huge armor. Easy to insert and no problems whatsoever. Top product.

As said above, untested (and I am not looking forward to test it in a crash). However fits seamlessly and is much more comfortable than a rigid back protector. And it is cheaper. For info: currently in a Dainese jacket.

Added this upgraded CE pad to my Sand 2 jacket. Fits the jacket well (be sure to order the correct size). I don't find it cumbersome. Hope I never need to use it, but if I do, I'll be glad I upgraded!

This is the type of purchase that you should not think about. Just buy it and always ride with it. I promise you if you ever go down with it you will not be questioning if it was worth your money. I added it to my Rev'it Blake jacket and did not notice any added bulk or discomfort. This back protector is more of a dense layered foam rather than the honeycomb gel substance that Rev'it uses for elbows, shoulders, knees, etc. As far as I am concerned there are only positives in buying this product. Just do it, your spine is worth a lot more than $40.

This looks like it will protect me on the off chance that the unfortunate happens. I am curious if there are other options available as this can be a little bulky, but it's nothing out of the ordinary. good protection, and worth the money!

Super easy to install. Using it in my Rev'it Eclipse jacket. Flexible, feels comfortable. Hope I never need to use it, but if I do, I'll be glad I upgraded! Worth the money and peace of inf in my opinion
