Description
The AIRBAG Vest with mechanical activation model Turtle-2 is designed to protect the motorcyclist in case of fall from the motorcycle. It must be worn as the outermost part of the human body. The semi-rigid dorsal protection (SAS-Tec Certified EN1621-2 Liv. 2) is positioned outside the air chambers in order to obtain a "Turtle – Turtle" effect once the Airbag is activated (the sequence is: back, air chambers and rigid protector outside to optimize the impact with the ground). Equipped with a front lacing with quick releases, Velcro adjustment and wide opening on the arms make this AIRBAG Vest particularly light and versatile. Ideal to be worn over a technical jacket, in all seasons of the year, on road, off-road and enduro routes.

The Turtle 2 works. The air bag expansion provides more protection than a CE 2 back, neck, shoulder, and rib protectors combined especially for high speed incidents. The velcro straps make sizing easy. The air cartridges are a 1 minute replacement process that can be done beside the road immediately after air bag deployment so you will be protected on the way home - I keep the hex key and replacement cartridge in the front pocket or underseat storage. Purchased the Turtle 2 vest on sale . I bought a Large and it fits great. I'm 195 lds. 5' 11" it is adjustable to fit my winter jacket, an Alpinestar jacket. Also can be adjusted to fit my summer gear I purchased this air vest because two friends have had accidents within the last few months and both walked away with very minor injuries.
