Dainese Wave D1 G1

My dainese jacket did not come with any back/spine protection however this insert fits in perfectly and adds just that much extra security and safety. Very comfortable on your back. Price is almost 50% less than elsewhere :)

The Wave is a very compact yet protective addition to the back. It's a night-and-day difference when compared to the foam panels found in Alpinestars and Rev'it! jackets, but it is still CE Level 1, and only lasts one impact use. It's also very breathable and somewhat flexible. For only a slightly higher price, the Manis D1 from Dainese renders as the safest back protector, bar none, and adds to the protective flexibility factor despite not having the extreme thinness of the Wave. It can also take a beating and keep going. If a minutely increased cost is possible to your budget, consider going with the Manis over the Wave, which should correspondingly fit in any Dainese jacket without any compatibility wonders (just so long as you get the right sizing... remember, G2 for all jackets larger than 48 and G1 for the 44, 46 and 48 sizes in addition to ladies. You will not regret going with the Manis, and even if you opt for the Wave because of the minuscule less expense, you'll likely end up looking for the Manis at a later point in time.

This back protector works wonders. It fits snug and doesn't make your Dainese jacket look bigger. Just make sure to buy G2 for mens jacket and G1 for females. Also, it is very comfortable. I definitely recommend buying it on motostorm because it's cheaper than anywhere else!

I bought this to fit in my Dianese Naked leather jacket. It fits perfectly and you forget that it's even there until you take the jacket off. This is a great price too, I can't believe how much cheaper it is here.

Its a good enough back protector for Dainese jackets that easily fits most of their standard jackets. Can take some back and forth shimmying for some jackets but overall a great fit! I'd recommend Forcefield products over this but if you're looking for something quick and compatible with all of your D-jackets, look no further.

Even as an insert, this piece is beautifully designed by Dainese. The armour fits well into my jacket and provides that extra protection that we need when we have fun on the twisties! Bought them with the chest inserts and no regret

Hello guys Got one of this protector but not use it anymore. Let me tell you why. From quality point of view This protector is great but this is not a full cover for your back. So always think if you need to protect some part your back or all your back and spine! For me I need a full back. This is looks like just fancy item to me and not really practical in event of crash.
