Travon's timeless style honors the tradition and historical path of an undisputed design classic. Bomber jackets were originally designed to keep World War I pilots warm in open cockpits, but by 1927 they had evolved into the classic we know and love, with a ribbed collar, waist and cuffs that added further protection from the wind and insulation. These new details also shaped the bomber look sported by the new REV'IT! Travon. Authentic Crossover To date the lightest jacket we've ever made, the Travon features technology originally designed for motorcycle touring and adventure. In a certain sense, it is a crossover, but you wouldn't think so, given its authentic bomber lines. We didn't want the technical innovation to detract from the aesthetics: the front zipper and underarm vents, the CE-marked SEESMART protectors on the shoulders and elbows and the SEESOFT Type RV back protector do not detract from the iconic style of this jacket. Fashion that works Reimagining a classic began with creating a design that turns people around and ensures you look great, whether on or off the bike. But it's in the saddle that you'll be able to fully appreciate its performance: the single-layer stretch lining moves with you, the tabs on the neck and waist personalize the fit, and the jacket also attaches easily to trousers thanks to a double jeans loop.
