The Gaerne Sg-12 features a new "G" for an exciting first impression. Don't think we stopped there, that is just the beginning. Check out the new features--
*Dual Stage Pivot System--This revolutionary new system is patented and exclusive to Gaerne and is certainly going to be a hit. The first pivot is attached to the "Razorback". This provides a rigid component that offers a strong lateral support while a glide-plate keeps the upper in a firm and upright position.
The second pivot is fixed on a sliding glide that allows the riders foot to feel natural while on the peg in a shifting or breaking situation--However, it will "bottom out" and absorb shock in the case of over-jumping a jump or in the case of unwanted compression.
*Grip Guard--On the inner side of the boot is the all new rubber "Grip Guard". You can feel the exceptional grip of the bike, as well as offering a heat resistant padding against your inner leg.
*Front Plate/Shin Guard--This new Thermoplastic shin plate is anatomically shaped for a perfect fit. By removing three screws a rider can also make the opening wider to accommodate a bigger leg or knee-brace.
*Buckle system--The SG-12 utilizes four lightweight alloy buckles that attach to an adjustable strap. This is a "Tried and True" system that provides the rider "Easy in" and "Easy out" non failure system. Keeping it simple!
*Gaiter--Made of a new Swiss breathable fabric called Acronos, the gaiter is extremely stretchy but has the perfect shape to keep the sand and debris out.
Interior Lining--On the inside you will find the famous "Gaerne Memory Cell Foam" --Known for the most comfortable feel and fit ride after ride.
*Heel Cup--The new Heel cup has been designed to absorb shock in the case of a rear compression--It also doubles as a nice place to showcase the new "G" logo !!
*Toe-Box--This new design features a slimmer shape in the toe area for an improved feel of the shift lever and the bikes controls. The entire area is wrapped by a new plastic material which is lighter and provides more comfort and feel for the bike as well.
*Toe cap--The all new shape --the toecap has been re-designed and reinforced to provide a new "tougher" look.
*Sole- For the SG-12 you will notice a new design. This sole is new in look, but still uses the Gaerne "Dual Composite" anti-shock rubber that has made Gaerne soles famous around the world.
Insole--Inside the boot you will find an all new foot-bed which has been specially molded to correctly support the foot. In the rear portion of the foot-bed, a new shock absorbing material has been used. And in the front portion the construction has been made to allow the foot to vent.

These are the first pair of Gaerne boots that I have ever had. The sizing chart was accurate. They look amazing and I am very happy. The boots have a very comfortable fit and did not take long to break in. My whole foot and ankle feels well protected. Coming from both Aplinestar and Fox boots in the past, I must say that these are by far the best boots that i have punched and well worth the price.

Gaerne Sg-12 White Gray is the best of the best. I ordered my husband for a gift - he was delighted. They are very comfortable, you practically don’t feel them on your feet, they don’t rub them anywhere, and your legs don’t get tired at all. Motobotinki not get wet, the husband was engaged in enduro in the mountains and crossed the mountain river and his legs remained dry. I recommend this model to everyone, do not regret, buy and feel the difference, shoes and in truth SUPER !!! Also, special thanks to the store for fast delivery to the door)))

So I wear out soles quite quickly on most boots nowadays, but not these. I have several pairs and have yet to need a sole replacement. The fit, forms to one’s ankles and makes them feel custom. No break in, well, hardly any maybe 30 minutes for formfit. Feel on the bike is good right away.

I will never wear another boot, the SG12’s are the best boots available, IMO !! I’ve worn A-Stars and a few other brands and the SG12’s are more like slippers than moto boots, as far as comfort is concerned.

SG12 boots are the best pair of boots i have worn, which has lead me to buy another pair, which i am ordering today. i might not be a high caliber rider, yet it proves even amatures can get the best quality. the feel and comfort is amazing. the hinged ankle is a complete game changer bringing complete comfort when putting your foot down. i would reccomend these boots to new and pro riders.

I bought these boots because I wanted the safest and strongest boot I could find. There is no doubt they meet these criteria. I bought them for adventure riding in Australia and did an 8,000km trip though the bush and outback. They are my first pair of motorcross boots. It did take quite a while to break them in and I had trouble changing gears smoothly for quite a while. The boots have barely worn, fit well and have no faults at all. They do squeak but its not a big deal. For their real purpose they are a hard core, rock solid boot. But I must admit for adventure riding I am looking at something like the Sidi Adventure 2 that is hopefully a little more suitable for walking around once I get off the bike. They won't have the protection of the SG12 but may be more suited to my needs to balance protection with ease of use off the bike.

These are great boots. Super protective and comfortable. Boot hugs ankle really well and the pivot breaks in quickly. Plenty of room in the toe box. Quality and construction are top notch and tho jam of gaerne.

Super durable. Wore these the entire season with no issues. Buckles are top notch as well as the quality construction. Will take a little time to break these in. Not as comfortable as the Tech10's out of the box. Give them a chance.

these boots feel like clouds on your feet, but yet these would also survive a nuclear blast, they are built to last, the sides of boots will almost stick you to the bike, the grip these boots have is crazy, 5 stars in every category.
