New boot for tourism and off-road, the ideal choice for seasoned travelers. Full grain waterproof leather upper with a layer of suede on the inside to protect the leg from heat. The closure system uses two aluminum adjustable and interchangeable buckles, and a strip of velcro at the top allows to adjust the closing perfectly, adapting the boot to the shape of the calf. The lining inside is gore-tex, in addition to being waterproof, it also offers excellent breathability. Anti-slip rubber grip sole and removable insole.

I purchased this item a few months ago. I searched for a good boot, one that I can wear both on street and off road. I received this item. I liked it very much. But the fitting was a bit tight. I live in the US and am used to the size fittings in the US. For customers who are unfamiliar with European sizes, make sure to purchase a size or two larger than your average boot size. I had watched a video on this subject that had made a point about getting a size or two larger. Unfortunately I didn't expect it to be so very tight. I gave this boot as a gift to a friend of mine who has smaller feet. It was perfect fit for him and he has been enjoying a very high quality Italian Motorcycle boot. I am purchasing another one of my size. I wear a 10.5 boot. In France 10.5 is usually equivalent to 43 but for purchasing purposes (and following the manufacturer's size recommendation) I should perhaps get the size 45. I live in the US and this boot is a perfect dual sport riding boot. It offers excellent ankle protection and is still very easy to walk in. The Gore-Tex option seems to only be offered through european distributors because all of the Midland boots in the U.S. have the old aquatech liner system. I am extremely happy with these boots and I want to by another pair to use when I am riding my cruiser so I can keep them cleaner. I know these boots have saved me a broken ankle at least twice hitting big rocks on the uphill side of steep sidehill trail. The traction is also very nice. They are the most comfortable riding boot I have ever worn. It is also very nice because you can fit most pant bottoms around the shin protection so you don't have to tuck them in if you don't want to. If Motostorm gets in another size 46 I'm buying another pair!!! (Posted on 14/03/2016)Overall

The sole is an interesting design. From the photos it looks like it has chunky soles but there is also a large section of smooth sole which is useful for changing position on the bike pegs. The fasteners are easy to use but the adjustment tabs do deform very easily which can make it hard to tweak the tightness of the straps. (Posted on 04/04/2020)Overall
