I bought this to use on my FJR and with the E46 case from GIVI. I would recommend this case to everyone because it uses the main frame to support the case rather than just the subframe. I had only 1 minor problem with one of the emblems on the rack being crooked from the factory but MotoStorm helped me out and convinced GIVI to mail me a replacement to the USA. Thanks Motostorm!

I think this is a nice sturdy piece of hardware but it is not perfect. I only gave it 4 stars for the following reason. I had already read on one of the FJR Forums where others had to use their own washers to shim the rack and so did I. If the forward most bolts were drawn into position then the rear section of the rack had a gap big enough for 3 washers and I did not want to crack the plastic trying to draw it into position. If the rear were drawn down first then the front raised up leaving the same size gap. Trying to tighten each bolt a little at a time until they were all tight didn't work either. I wound up using 1 washer on each of the forward bolts and the rearward bolt with no washers added in the middle. This seamed to draw everything into place without undue stress on the plastic tail section.
