The well-focused light of the EVO high beam spotlights has a particularly wide range. Therefore, the field of view is optimally illuminated, and safety increases on and off the road. For the development of the new EVO spotlights, SW-MOTECH sought a strong partner and relied on the know-how of a leading manufacturer in the automotive sector for a long time. The focus was on a compact shape and adherence to the highest quality standards: the EVO high beam spotlights are waterproof and dustproof according to the IP69 protection class. The almost completely wear-resistant LEDs used for the premium spotlights ensure optimal vision for years.

Approval notice

The spotlights are equipped with an ECE control mark (ECE R113 Rev. 2). The ECE numbers allow installation without further approvals from a control institute such as TÜV or DEKRA. Lighting to be installed on the motorcycle is regulated nationally in the Federal Republic of Germany by the StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations) (§ 50) and at the European level by Directive 93/92 EEC relating to lighting and signaling devices on two or three-wheeled vehicles. These regulations and directives state, among other things, that:
- The installation of two high beam spotlights is permitted.
- In the case of two high beam spotlights, the distance between the two illuminating surfaces must not exceed 200 mm.
- White light is intended for front illumination and red light for rear illumination, while yellow light can be used laterally.
- Pairs of lights must be mounted symmetrically with respect to the center part of the vehicle and at the same height.
- The brightness of the lamps must be the same.
- Low beams must not be operated simultaneously with fog lights.
Before purchasing the product, it is necessary to verify the approval regulations in force in the respective country.
