It can only be installed in combination with the aluminum luggage rack equipped with an electromagnetic joint and floating plate for the original top case. It does not allow the installation of a stop light kit on the case and/or a remote opening device for the case.

Excellent Build Quality and Super Easy Installation

This rack fit very easily on my 2024 R1300GS it mounts directly to the Vario Top box mount with 4 bolts and spacers. The Black Anodized Aluminum finish looks great even when there is no box on the bike. Very happy with purchase, lifetime GIVI customer their products are super strong and great quality, Also love the versatility with this rack mounted i can purchase any of the mono key cases and they will fit, short trip go with small 30 liter, going on long trip / camping outfit the 58 liter without having to make any changes to the mount.
