Product information
The Brembo Racing 19RCS Short Stroke (code 110C74010) is a universal radial brake master cylinder designed to enhance the feel and performance of braking on motorcycles equipped with dual disc systems.
This pump introduces Idle Stroke adjustment, a technology derived from MotoGP that allows the rider to map the very first part of the lever stroke.
Piston: 19 mm diameter, ideal for systems with two brake calipers.
Idle Stroke Selector (Bite Point): Adjustable in three positions via an eccentric:
R (Race): Minimum stroke, immediate and responsive braking.
S (Sport): Intermediate stroke, less aggressive feel.
N (Normal): Maximum stroke, softer and more modulable engagement, ideal on the road or with poor grip.
RCS System (Ratio Click System): Allows varying the distance between 18 mm (for more modulable braking) and 20 mm (for more prompt and responsive braking) by rotating a regulator 180°.
Pump Body: Made of forged aluminum alloy and machined with CNC machines, with hard oxidation finish for greater resistance.
Jointed Lever: Designed to fold in case of a fall, reducing the risk of breakage.
Stop Light Switch: Mechanical micro-switch included in the package for road use.
Bleed Screw: Tilted over 30° to facilitate air bleeding.
Compatible Fluid: To be used exclusively with DOT 4 brake fluid.
The Brembo 19RCS Short Stroke (110C74010) is recommended for almost all sports, supersport, medium-large displacement naked, and sport-tourer motorcycles equipped with a front dual disc braking system.
Dual Disc System: The 19 mm piston is sized to push fluid towards two calipers simultaneously.
Fixed Calipers (Radial or Axial): It is compatible with 4-piston calipers (e.g., diameters 30/34, 32/36, or 34/34).
ABS Compatibility: The pump works correctly even on motorcycles equipped with ABS systems.
Examples of Compatible Motorcycles
This pump is often chosen as an upgrade for high-performance models, including:
Ducati: Panigale (various versions), SuperSport, Monster (versions with dual disc).
BMW: S 1000 RR, S 1000 R, HP4, M 1000 RR.
Suzuki: GSX-R 1000, GSX-S 1000, GSX-8S.
Yamaha: YZF-R1, YZF-R6 (although for the R6 some experts also suggest the 17 mm version depending on the desired feel), MT-09, MT-10.
Honda: CBR 1000 RR-R, CBR 600 RR.
Aprilia: RSV4, Tuono V4.
When to Choose It:
It is the ideal choice if you are looking for customizable braking for different usage contexts:
Mixed Road/Track Use: Thanks to the 6 adjustment combinations (3 idle stroke maps and 2 distances), you can switch from a 'soft' braking for rain or traffic to an 'instant' MotoGP response for the track.
Feeling Upgrade: If the original pump (often less refined axial or radial stock) feels spongy or imprecise under stress.
