This sump guard made of 4 mm thick aluminum sheet was specially developed for the Ducati DesertX (22-). It protects the oil filter and other components of the Crossplane engine.
Further protection of the engine from stones and contact with the ground: the sump guard, made of high-quality aluminum alloy, demonstrates all its off-road capabilities, but also offers road motorcyclists a plus in safety and a personal look. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes give the model-specific protective elements a secure fit. Attachment to the frame mounting points gives additional stability and allows for easy assembly.
