BLACK SKID PLATE KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE R/S
2.9kg - Made of 8mm thick High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, this protective plate protects the engine block and important parts of the motorcycle.
30 to 40% lighter than alloy plates, the AXP sump guard cancels reasoning noise from rock impacts, generates no vibration and does not warp, which will make maintenance easier than the alloy option.
The fixing system has been designed to be robust and lightweight (see the video below to find out more).
In contrast to painted alloy plates, we cut the mass so that the black color remains black all the time.
Compatible with original crash bars, center stands and mufflers. In all other cases modifications may be necessary.

Recommend for the 2024 KTM 1290

The functionality of the AXP skid plate is superior than other skid plates that I have used in the past. The fit was a little bit tricky for installation, but after installing, I would highly recommend the skid plate and has been great for the pass 2000 miles.
