Product information
Uncompromising adventure.
Black Adventure skid plate for the BMW R1300GS, made from 8mm-thick HDPE plastic, a technical material known for its resistance to wear, impact, and abrasion.
Designed for demanding adventurers, this skid plate offers complete protection for the engine block and exhaust system. The reinforced 20mm HDPE mounting system anchors to the engine block and acts as a buffer to prevent direct stress. For complete front protection, the skid plate covers the crash bar mounting points.
Tested and approved by BMW training riders, it offers reliable protection on the road and off-road, even in the harshest environments.
Why HDPE?
HDPE is perfectly suited for trail riding:
Absorbs shocks and returns to its original shape after impact
Generates no vibration or resonance
Reduces noise from projectiles (rocks, debris)
Up to 40% lighter than aluminum
Glides over obstacles
Supports the weight of the motorcycle on a single point
Product Highlights:
Ultra-strong and durable HDPE construction
Complete protection for the engine block and exhaust system
Excellent shock absorption under extreme conditions
