Made of plastic HDPE 8mm thick, the Adventure skid plate has succefully past the track test and will protect your machine the best way ! Frame protection, cases, water pump but also of the linkage ! The AXP skid plate is light weight and absorbs impacts and déformations !
You’ll discover how quiet is the plastic compared to alloy plates. Made for the European model EURO5, this model will also fit the previous frame but with a more important gap at the front.
If you don’t have the EURO5 model, prefere the AX1564 version !
Compatible with SW-Motech SBL.06.799.10001/B, GIVI TN2145, OUTBACK MOTORTEK , HEED "BASIC", ADVENTURE SPEC and YAMAHA crash bars. Compatible with the SW-MOTECH and HEPCO & BECKER center stands.

The plastic material is thicker and more heavy duty than I expected. The coverage is very good, except that the left side engine case is exposed. I've dropped the bike on the left side once since installing this skid plate and got a deep scratch on the left side case. The installation is a little bit tricky. Every single bolt must be lined up perfectly, and if any bolts are started more than just a few threads it is difficult to get other bolts started. Otherwise, this is a great product!

I think it's one of the best because it can slide on rocks and other objects and only a plastic can do that, of course it's 2. 9kg, which you wouldn't call light but it seems quite durable, it will be seen if it's anointed of course.

This skid plate form AXp has the most protection for my 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700. I have AXP on all of my bikes and they hold up great IT is a lot quieter than the aluminum skid plates, and is stronger.

Light weight and high impact resistance. Better than heavy steal alternatives. I recommend. Be aware that you buy the right one. Look at EURO 4 or EURO 5 versions. This need te matcht your Tenere 700 building year.
