looks & works good when fitted
4/5

Had to drill oem plastic cover. Givi brackets stop you using under seat storage space for Triumph u lock storage. But looks good when fitted, with or without top box fitted and simple to fit/remove my top box from.

Does the job
4/5

Installed this for a TREKKER OUTBACK 58L and looks good. The only downside is having to drill the triumph plastic cover. Before I had a rack from SW-Motech that didn't require drilling the plastic cover, but with the way it was installed I wasn't confident putting a big case there. The Givi rack requires drilling but it seems to have stronger installation.

Great mount, tedious installation
4/5

The mount is good, and solid. I chose this one over the plastic version as it is lower profile and just looks cleaner to me. The installation goes together and the parts in the kit are correct for my 2016 Triumph Tiger 800 XR, but it is painful. For the holes you need to drill in your tail cover, there is no template, the markings on the back side of the cover are not positioned right, and it's hard to get the 4 holes you need aligned right. Like other Givi instructions, they are not detailed (picture a bad version of Ikea). After toiling several hours, here's what worked for me. Install the brackets. Dry fit the plastic tail cover and eyeball the hole position for the left rear location. Drill a 1/8" pilot hole. Put a small flashlight inside the compartment, dry fit the cover, and check alignment. Expand the hole gradually with a step drill until you get to the required 15 mm size. At this point I installed the spacer and repeated the dry fit (now going over the spacer) and fine tuned the hole with a rat tail file. Now proceed to the right front hole and repeat the process. Then do the remaining 2 holes.
