The SR6426 is a dedicated gloss black rear carrier, designed with pre-drilled mounting holes for universal base plates such as the E251. Compared to standard carriers, this design minimizes alignment issues, allowing the base plate to be mounted securely and accurately, which I found to be a major advantage. In contrast, the genuine optional carrier tends to interfere with the grab rail, making top case installation more difficult and requiring additional adjustments. The SR6426, on the other hand, is clearly designed with top case installation in mind, making it a more practical and user-friendly choice for riders who prioritize functionality.
