This is a good product for placing a tent or similar on. The carrying capacity increases by a lot. I recommend this product for anyone using one of the top boxes that this product can fit with. A bit expensive maybe..

It is made of metal, is quite heavy, and looks well made. I have not attached it yet to my V47NNT, but it looks straightforward. I don't think it will detract much from the cargo handling capacity of the trunk, as Givi seems to conservatively rate the weight handling of their case adapter plates and cases. Should allow attachment of some other light, but large items like a sleeping bag/tent in a dry bag that may not easily fit in the trunk and would take up all the available space if it did.
