This helmet boasts excellent design and functionality. Since it isn't sold in Japan, I couldn't try it on beforehand and was concerned about the fit; however, after gathering information online, I decided to choose one size larger than usual. I previously used a SHOEI J-Force IV in size L, but for the AIROH, I bought an XL, and the fit was perfect. As the information suggested, the AIROH does not feature an "Asian fit. " Even with the XL size, the cheek pads are quite thick, creating a tight sensation, though it is not so uncomfortable as to be unbearable during long-distance touring. The built-in sun visor can be used even while wearing glasses. I didn't notice any adverse aerodynamic effects on the visor when turning my head to check for safety while riding. Its lightweight design also helps reduce fatigue on long rides.
