This case is huge. My jacket and helmet fit easily with room to spare. I really like the latching system which is the push of a button to open and just push on the tab to close - much better than earlier givi/kappa cases I've owned which were prone to not latching if you didn't get the tab locked in properly - no chance of that on this case. Typical high quality givi/kappa gear. Haven't been in a downpour yet, but am sure this will be waterproof as per my other givi/kappa cases. As far as I can tell, the kappa version is identical to the givi except for the logo and of course the price - maybe the key/barrel type is different also. Strong and sturdy case. Easy on off like most Givi cases. I got the brushed metallic and looks good with my BMW side cases. One less star because you can't take the key out unless it is locked. When will they change that feature? I hope soon.(Posted on 27/11/2018)Overall

The genuine top case of BMW Motorrad R1250R is small. So I bought this case for camping. I also have a small Monokey series case, which I use for one-day touring. The downside is riding in the rain, which makes it harder to insert and turn the keys. I think the cause is sand getting into the key cylinder.(Posted on 17/10/2021)Overall
