I bought this item together with the 42 liter aluminium topcase from Givi. It's nice and soft, not as hard as the BMW 's backrest on their 32 liter aluminium topcase. If you buy the top case and are ever planning on carrying a pillion, you need this backrest to avoid having the hinges stick into your passenger's back. Overall, a well executed product. Good fit and finish which looks great and is comfortable. (Posted on 09/02/2018)Overall

A fantastic add on to a great top case. I wish I would have started with Givi luggage when I purchased my Ducati Multistrada. 10x better than what comes stock. Great backrest. Couldn't live without it. Otherwise the hinges bite into your passenger's back. Worth the money, take extra care when installing. Might be a good idea to add more adhesive before you install.(Posted on 07/07/2023)Overall
