This strap design is the best for lashing down bags. the webbing is strong and wide, and the metal cam buckles allow you to really tighten up the strap and it will not come loose. I use a similar designed strap (though much larger) to strap down my kayaks to the roof of my truck, and the design is sound. These straps do exactly what they are supposed to do, and they do it well. I used to use elastic cords/bungees to strap down, but once I found these I have not used the elastics because they tend to shift around. Once you strap down with these your cargo will not move. The smaller straps are useful for small dry bags strapping to the Givi Trekker Outback boxes, which is how I use them.(Posted on 24/03/2017)Overall
