Installed this on my 2016 XR. The install was very straight forward, it only took about an hour. Looks good and feels very sturdy. You do have to make a hole on the right side fairing but you cant see it. (Posted on 13/12/2018)Overall

If you have a BMW XR you need this. Quick installation with basic tools. Seems beefy. Maintains the style lines of the bike without making it look like a GS Adventure (which it definitely is not). Also provides a perfect mount for a GoPro or extra LED lights. (Posted on 16/03/2019)Overall
