Having own several modular helmets, I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the Schuberth C5. Quality hinges, great airflow but yet quiet. Best of all it comes ready for SC2 intercom with integrates very well with the helmet. Definitely a 5 star for me.

I've owned several Schubert helmets before purchasing the the C5. The fit of the C5 fits very comfortable compared to my C3. The fitting of the C3 was more round inside and wouldgive me a headache after a few minutes of riding with it. I did a 5 hour rode trip with some friends a few months ago with the C5 and I had no issues. The fit was very comfortable and quieter. Highly recommended.

This is my first high end helmet, and was great at first. But I soon discovered many annoyances after living with it long term. The Pinlock support pins do not rotate. I broke one while using a plastic flathead. Afterwards, I discovered that I could have just pushed it out and reposition it when it is off the visor. This is not mentioned anywhere in the manual. I bent the sunvisor mechanism while trying to put it back on the supports. I followed the instructions exactly and the visor would not pop back in. I tried harder and bent the rods coming from the sliding button. It eventually popped back in, but the switch is now unusable, and I have to pull down and push up the internal sunvisor with my fingers. The side latches for the main visor make it impossible to fully close the visor with a normal action. In my case, I have to flick it down really fast from the fully open position for it to close in the fully sealed position. In my brother's case, he had to shave down the side latches. There are a few videos about doing this on Youtube, so it is a known problem. With all these problems, I consider the helmet very overpriced.

This helmet fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I highly recommend this product and model, it's well worth the cost. Very good quality in material, the look is nice when on and I hope to have it for many years.

The Schuberth C5 helmet has the best fit and fell of any helmut i have worn. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality product at a reasonable price. The modular design of this helmut meets my needs.
