The Coolmax® lining is designed to ensure a secure and comfortable fit of the helmet. The fabrics are washable, anti-bacterial and quick-drying. The seamless head padding and integrated grooves for glasses make the helmet extremely comfortable to wear. I've had the Schuberth C4 Pro for about 3 years and it has been truly excellent. The smooth shell minimizes wind buffeting, and the built in, super low profile communication system keeps those lines smooth and quiet. I've had people be unable to tell I'm talking to them on helmet phone until I rev up past 3000rpm. Sizing (for the large at least) fits true to stated size - I have a 58cm head and the helmet fits perfectly, with or without a balaclava over the head. The liner is plush and soft and doesn't scuff or irritate my skin like many other helmet liners do. The helmet is very sleek, the styling is very rounded with just enough spoilers going to keep things comfortable and in place without having a windscreen. The only low point of the helmet is ventilation; as many reviewers have said over the last couple years, ventilation is adequate but not excellent. Wearing the helmet over 90 degrees Fahrenheit can get stifling below highway speeds. Overall, I would definitely recommend getting this helmet, especially with the new C5 coming out and the prices going down on the C4 Pro and the SC1 communications system.
