My son has used this mount for years, it sticks very well to all surfaces. his camera has never fallen off, so you should not be worried. the mounts are easy to apply anywhere and rubbing alcohol will remove all residue.

These Gopro mounts work really well, just gotta make sure you clean the mounting surface really well. I had one attached to the chin bar on my helmet for years, never came loose. Removing them is tough, but a heat gun used carefully helps.
