SPEEDSTAR 2 is the new full-face helmet from Suomy with elegant, dynamic, and high-performance shapes, the unmistakable Suomy imprint, designed and developed in Italy with the most advanced digital technologies, tested in wind tunnels and on the road to provide the best dynamic performance in riding. The shell, available in 2 sizes, is made with a new layering of carbon, aramid, and glass fibers specifically designed for E2206 approval.

The Hydrocool interiors are produced with the best technologies to ensure reliability, comfort, and safety; The typical performances of the racing world meet the touring-sport ones to create an aerodynamic, versatile, comfortable helmet with technical solutions suitable for every type of road adventure.

The shell is made of TRICOMPOSITE fibers, a new stratification that allows for a lighter yet more protective shell. The new composite, carefully studied to obtain ECE 2206 approval, is a mix of carbon with different weight/breaking load combined with aramid and fiberglass fibers.

The inner polystyrene shell is made in three sizes (S, M, L) for better ergonomics and is made in variable densities. This feature allows for gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by the impact. Although most of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the outer shell through its deformation, the role of polystyrene is crucial for absorbing the residual energy. A different density of polystyrene allows optimizing the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene system, ensuring the maximum level of absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the strict ECE 2206 standard.

The visor is made of injection-molded polycarbonate, scratch-resistant with variable thickness, easy to remove thanks to a tool-free system. The compact visor mechanism is made of a particular lightweight metal alloy that gives greater solidity to the assembly. The visor is also equipped with a "Racing Lock System" (Pat Pend) locking mechanism, also in lightweight metal alloy. This mechanism reduces the possibility of visor detachment in case of impact and allows for more intuitive opening/closing.

Speedstar 2 is equipped with a large internal sun visor, with cable technology that ensures smooth movement through a button on the edge of the shell easily operated with the left hand.

SPEEDSTAR 2 is equipped with the PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120 anti-fog system, the most performing on the market.

VENTILATION
During the hottest and most challenging trips, the helmet's maximum performance is required, and being able to rely on an efficient ventilation system is crucial to maintain the motorcyclist's concentration at high levels. Speedstar 2 features four air intake ducts that work in combination with a perfectly integrated extraction channel system, ensuring excellent airflow inside the helmet. The extraction of hot air is carefully studied; two recessed air extractors, together with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect by drawing out the internal hot air.

INTERIORS
The cheek pads and the cap can be removed, washed, and replaced. They are made of high-quality Hydrocool fabric, which offers the following features:

- Maintenance of a pleasant feeling of coolness and dryness
- Lightness, softness, and breathability
The cheek pads are easily removable in case of emergency thanks to the quick-release system.
