After some years of close cooperation for manufacturing their SNELL and FIA car racing helmets, the famous US brand SIMPSON PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS asked us to add a touch of modern design and comfort to their iconic motorcycle helmet: the result is the all-new SIMPSON VENOM, combining an agressive streetfighter look with first class comfort and technical specs, like the ultralight shell in Maxx-3C built with the VKS venting system, the enlarged visual field for a limitless vertical and peripheral vision, the visor prepared to fit Pinlock® MaxVision® lenses and the drop-down sun visor covering completely the visual field.

Finally Simpson made a helmet that is specific for motorcycle riders. The styling is like an updated Outlaw Bandit helmet with a more modern touch. The helmet is very comfortable with adjustable front vents for controlling ventilation. The biggest selling point for me is the retractable inner tinted visor which is handy for transitioning between riding during the day and night. This feature is a plus since Simpson currently does not have a quick release function for swapping visors. (Posted on 19/12/2017)Overall

I suspect this would be better on a sport bike rather than a cruiser. I ride a Triumph T100 Bonneville. The style of this is not best suited for my bike, but I am not too proud in fashion and wanted a top quality lid with nice features.
