ECE Rated is alot better than DOT and Snell in my opinion ( not enough difference after their scandal between the ratings, too hard) These fit right off the bat for me in a size medium with a 22.5 inch head. Some reviews talk about how difficult it is to snap these. Off the bat it was the case for one side that it was very hard to snap. After that first snap and first unsnap it became alot easier.
