Three different shells to emphasize the comfort of fit, available in Full Carbon 6K or Composite Carbon, with a sophisticated ventilation system, engineered directly in the wind tunnel. Among the great innovations of the Commander 2, the ASN and AEFR systems to further increase the safety of the rider who will now be able to enjoy his trip in complete freedom, without losing even the smallest detail. I got it two years ago. Excellent product, feel light when you ride all day long. Ventilation is one of the best things helmet have. I will go for the second one to my next trip around The Great Smoky Mountains on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. Thanks Moto Storm to send all items I have ordered until today on time. I already have a Airoh X5, which is considered a high end adv helmet, yet the commander has better visor mechanism (spring loaded!) the unit is 200g lighter (both L size) and the peak has better wind “behaviour” compared to the X5. In term of shape, the commander feel more tight than the X5, which is good if you are beteeen 2 sizes. Slightly more oval than the X5 but hold better. It feels closer to the X5 in some M (I could wear both size) Only “get use to” is the thinner grip of the visor more difficult to grab than the side one on the X5, the locking mechanism is a little bit small to detect at the beginning, but it does the job very well. I don’t use the sun visor, but it’s a plus if I don’t have my sunglasses with me. Overall, an excellent helmet, I just hope the rubber do not crumble after few years in hot weather like on my old Aviator. Also, the air flow is quit good too, better than the X5. If Arai had a stiffer locking system I wouldn’t have bought another helmet, but for the price, it’s a great unit.

Had it for a little over 6 months, great helmet, despite the bulk it feels weightless, sizing runs about right, but the shape of the helmet on the sides will fold your ears when putting it on, but nothing a couple tugs on the helmet won't solve. Not a lot of space leftover to install a comm system due to the lack of space for the speakers. Will buy another one or the successor once this one is done.

I have this helmet for 1 month. It is a nice helmet and very comfortable because of it's wheight. I have no problem with the noise (I usually travel around 90 to 110 km/hour). The bike that i own is a cf moto 450 mt.

I had the previous one and boought also the new. Best Looking, Super Comfortable (depends on the head) and you won't feel the weight, Not so noisy. The space for the intercom has increased but needs more.
