The GP-7, successor to the legendary GP-6—one of the most successful helmets in Arai's history—is finally available.
Compliant with SNELL SA2020 Standard and FIA 8859-2015 Homologation. The outer shell is made using the Complex Laminate Construction technique, with the addition of the Arai Peripheral Belt for extra reinforcement, maximizing the shell's rigidity, strength, and energy deflection capability.
Creating the smoothest, strongest, and roundest outer shells possible is a common feature of all Arai helmets. This construction philosophy allows us to increase the helmet's ability to deflect impact energy, maximizing the level of protection it can offer. We know that all the energy we can deflect with the outer shell does not need to be absorbed by the inner shell, significantly increasing the maximum absorption capacity of every Arai helmet.
The multi-density Arai inner shell is made in a single piece (world exclusive), and its combination with the PB-cLc outer shell has allowed us to create a helmet with unparalleled characteristics.
The different densities of the EPS and the monoblock structure allow us to maintain uniform thickness at any point of the helmet and to create a shell that perfectly fits the rider's head, enhancing comfort, visibility, and energy absorption capacity.
The new generation of Facial Contour System-2 (FCS-2) cheek pads guarantee an unprecedented level of comfort by firmly wrapping the jaw area without creating annoying pressure points and minimizing noise intrusion from the lower part of the helmet. They are also removable, washable, and available in different thicknesses to perfectly fit the specific needs of each rider.
The threaded holes for the optional FHR M6 anchor installation are integrated into the shell, allowing for quick and secure installation. The Arai GP-7 is also equipped with a removable chin strap for hydration system use. Like the GP-7 SRC, the GP-7 (FRP) boasts 7 air intakes on the top of the shell: two front TDF3 ducts, three central Tear Duct extractors, and two rear XDB Duct extractors, with the addition of a chin air intake to optimize airflow inside the helmet and keep the rider's head cool. The Variable Axis System (VAS) is designed to lower the visor's rotation pivot, allowing us to further strengthen the outer shell in the temple area without compromising the visor's functionality.
Low-profile anchor screws can be adjusted with a T20 torx key included in the package.
