The body produces varying amounts of heat in different regions of the body, which is why X-Bionic developed the new Energy Accumulator® 4.0 Winter pants. Those from the chest and back are particularly high due to the need to protect organs interni.il the Bionic Sphere system® with ThermoSyphon technology® leaves a thin film of moisture on the skin without the body feel wet. Sweat Trapstechnology® then transports excess sweat and evaporates it, then disposes through thermal dynamics. The rest constitutes only a thin layer of comfortable, thin and refreshing moisture. of course in the absence of sweat there is no cooling. With freezing temperature the entire channel system acts as an insulator in the recovery rest phases. This avoids the risk of overcooling during activities.

Good Base layer for pants

I've also had the opportunity to wear this baselayer while skiing in some fairly low temperatures (around -10°C) and it creates a very stable insulated environment when you're out in the cold but not physically working hard (that pretty much sums up my skiing). X-Bionic is heavily into skiing too, and it has a whole range of ski-specific kit; this baselayer crosses over between the two sports and it did a bang-up job. So if you're looking for something to use for longer, low-intensity riding in cold weather, or just general keeping warm, it should be high on the list for that as well.
