Spidi Superstorm Over Pant

Had these delivered by Motorstorm and have been using these all Winter. They have been essential for my everyday commute. Warm enough to ride on cold days (down to 5C) and very easy to get in and out of. Good protection and great fit. Excellent service from Motorstorm.

These trousers are mostly brilliant. They look great and fit great and are really easy to get on and off with the full length zip. The only downside I've found is they leak a bit even in quite light rain. Although when I contacted Spidi they said they would replace them as they should be 100% waterproof.

I still have the same impression, but I now have a better feel and there are a couple of shortcomings one should be aware of. One is that there are no external pockets, so you will have to go fishing inside to get yo your actual trouser pockets for cash or anything else you may usually store in those pockets. Not a big deal, but it might be a bit of a pain at toll stations. And a bit awkward to be seen fishing in your pants, LOL. The second one is a bit more serious; no front zipper for your toilet visits and in order to go for a pee you will actually have to take the whole thing off, else you'll be dragging it on the floor of a public bathroom. Not real problems, nuisances rather, but just keep them in mind. Nevertheless, it's the only pair of overpants that open with the zippers on the side, which for me is much more important than those little shortcomings and, secondly, after riding in 0 degrees Celsius (32F) for about an hour and in the rain for a couple of hours another day, I can confidently say that they are warm enough and totally waterproof. So still a very good choice for me.

I wear a 38-40 US jean size and ordered the 2XL size and these are very tight. I would recommend up sizing 2 sizes compared the the displayed sizing chart on this page.
