In hot climates and to ensure the proper thermal comfort, two ventilation zippers on the sleeves, two air vents on the chest, and two ventilation zippers on the back allow the wearer to adjust air flow towards the body effectively and precisely.The highest Dainese safety standards are upheld with Pro-Armor Lev. 2, Type B protectors on the elbows and shoulders. This is the highest level of limb protection certification, with the largest possible area of coverage. I was skeptical about this jacket but I'm glad I purchased it. It is a great all weather jacket and you can use the outer liner as a shell. the outer shell isn't gortex but Dianes's proprietary dry fabric. I haven't been in too much rain but it seems like it'll do.

Jacket fits true to Dainese sizing. I'm 5'11 200lbs with a 44" chest and a 34" waist and a 56 fits snug with the lining. The jacket with lining keeps me warm through freezing temperatures. Be advised that the color isn't black/grey/red. . . The 'grey' portion is actually blue.

The size guide provided worked perfectly. I am 5’8” and 185 lbs with an athletic build. The size 54 fit me very well. Plenty of adjustment. All zippers and closures feel firm and keep out the weather.
