Until the pandemic hit I was commuting 15 miles each way, daily and year round regardless of weather (well ok snow on the roads and maybe I’d give it a miss). I was using Daniese D-Dry gear and found that it wasn’t 100% waterproof at the seams, especially in torrential downpours. Decided to get some laminated GoreTex gear, and it was a toss up between this jacket or a Rukka Nivala. The Rukka was significantly more expensive so I opted for this in the end. Not disappointed, very good quality.
