Great for street and trackReview by
I have used a pair of Sidi Vertigo boots for both street and track riding for almost 7 years now. The only reason I am getting another pair is that the soles have finally worn out. After 30 K miles of commuting, touring, and many races I feel I've gotten my money's worth. On top of the protection (they survived several crashes during racing) they are the most comfortable riding boots I've ever owned. Yes, they are still armored riding boots, so won't want to go hiking in them, but they are great for day after day of touring and sightseeing. (Posted on 31/03/2016)
Great boot with lots of protectionReview by
I picked these up after wearing out a cheapo pair. I have had these boots for two years now and they are amazing. The airflow is pretty nice in the hotter months. I love the amount of protection offered with these. (Posted on 23/08/2016)
Sidi make great bootsReview by
Love this boot. I crashed 5 times in my boots and my feet is unharmed boot is a lil bit scratched up but I still ride in them. Everything Is replaceable on the boot and can be purchased online. Comfortable (Posted on 27/11/2016)
Expensive, but worth itReview by
I've had these boots for about 6 years now. They do show a bit of wear & tear, but they are holding up well and are my go-to boot for everything but wet weather. Very comfy & protective boot, yet easy to put on & take off. Comfortable for walking in off the bike too. (Posted on 16/02/2017)
Great bootsReview by
Very comfortable and lots of protection. I like that almost all of the parts are easily replaced. They also are fast to get on and off unlike some of Sidi's newer models with tons of straps. I wear a size 10 us in most sneakers and the 43 fits perfectly. (Posted on 14/08/2017)
Great Overall BootsReview by
I've had these boots for the last 9 years, and they've been great for commuting and weekend rides. One of the zipper pulls eventually broke off (easy fix), but everything else has been fully functional. I had one slow low side years ago, and the boots protected my feet perfectly. As for negatives, the air vents don't seem to offer much cooling. Although, I have the discontinued, waterproof version, so they could be just cosmetic. Also, Sidis tend to run narrow, so size then appropriately. Overall, they're great boots for any type of ride and have long durability to justify their cost. (Posted on 11/10/2017)
Great boot. Surprisingly comfortableReview by
The size runs about right. A bit wider than the standard Italian boot. The soles are soft and grippy but walking around will wear them down pretty quickly. Easy to get on and off with the zipper and velcro strap. (Posted on 11/12/2017)
Excellent Boots--highly recommendedReview by
These fit perfectly and feel very secure and protected. Very happy with my purchase. In light of high the quality is, I would feel comfortable spending more money on more expensive SIDI boots in the future. (Posted on 26/01/2018)
Excellent Quality, Lightweight, Great Fit, ComfortableReview by
They are easy to walk around in and the soles have held up well. Adjustability is quick and intuitive and allows me as much freedom as I want for shifting. I couldn't be happier make sure you buy a size smaller. (Posted on 29/01/2018)
Fit and functionReview by
Nicest boot I've ever owned. Planing to get the V2, but I like this boot so much, I may not. Excellent movement for a full boot and comfortable on long rides. Great looking and functional. Soles should be a bit more durable, which is why the 4* (Posted on 19/12/2018)
Comfortable bootReview by
I purchased these boots for the track initially, but in hindsight, they were too flexible around the ankle to be used for that purpose, in my opinion. The Vertigo 2 looks like it might be better suited for the track or the Roarr. Having said that, this boot is still great to wear. The toe is very slim and can get under the shift lever very easily. It also has great feel and doesn't seem clunky when wearing it. It does still offer a lot of protection that most conventional street boots wouldn't have. (Posted on 06/02/2019)
