The S-MX Plus v2 Plus Gore-Tex Boot perfectly blends sleek sports styling with advanced protection features developed in Alpinestars performance footwear department. Featuring a waterproof and highly breathable Gore-Tex lining for excellent all-weather performance, the boot also boasts a durable and light microfiber upper reinforced with a rugged polymer protector while the exclusive Multi-Link Control (MLC) system prevents ankle torsion while offering freedom of movement.

• Main upper material constructed from advanced microfiber for durability and abrasion resistance, plus a waterproof and highly breathable Gore-Tex lining for excellent all-weather performance.

• Alpinestars Lace-Lock system constructed from an advanced polymer resin to guarantee quick, precise and secure closure.

• Advanced microfiber upper construction for lightweight high performance protection and superb levels of flexibility.

• Front flex area is constructed with a soft microfiber for improved abrasion resistance and natural forward and back movement.

• Flexible accordion microfiber on Achilles gives enhanced natural suppleness.

• Strategically positioned ventilation area in heel and shin TPU for breathability and airflow.

• According to European statutory law the CE mark is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply:

• CE EN13634:2017

• New Alpinestars unique Multi-Link Control system provides advanced external protection and support for ankle articulation, limiting hyper-torsion, hyper-extension and hyper-flexion as well as providing Achilles and ankle impact protection.

• Contoured high modulus shin plate protector gives superior impact and abrasion resistance.

• Dual density TPU replaceable toe slider with screw-in assembly provides protective coverage around the outer toe area.

• TPU heel protector are positioned to dissipate and absorb shocks and allow sliding during an accident.

Great! Very comfortable boot that I currently use for street riding (havent done any track days with them yet). I still recommend swapping out to a street shoe when you get to your destination however these feel great on the bike!

Great Boot

Perfect boot for sports/touring. Good protection and comfortable, especially with the Goretex. Can get a little warm on Australian summer days (anything above 30 degrees). Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this boot.

Best boots

I have had a pair of these smx plus since 2015. Only thing through all these years and alot of riding is a little crack in the rubber at the front. Easy fix with a little 2 compound glue. I have replaced the toe sliders with some in aloy efter the plastic took a beating on track day. Everything on the boots still works. The goretex is going streng!

excellent Gore-text boots

This is my 3rd pair of SMX Plus Gore-Tex boots over the years. They are truely water proof. I have ridden over thousands of miles in heavy downpours without getting my feet wet! They are also very comfortable and don't get your feet sweat. In that regard, they are better than those water-proof non gore-tex boots. The soles also provide good traction on wet surfaces.
