WHAT IS TEXTREME?
TeXtreme® Spread Tow is a special carbon fiber that makes the helmet even lighter, without compromising its resistance (only 1000 g).

MIPS TECHNOLOGY
The new D4 MTB bike helmet is equipped with the MIPS C2 protection system, which stands for Multidirectional Impact Protection System, a revolutionary technology that reduces and slows down the amount of energy transferred to the head in angular impacts. The insertion of MIPS in Troy Lee Designs helmets drastically reduces the rotational forces and consequently the risks related to possible concussions. D4 is also equipped with the Collarbone Suspension System, designed to ensure that the force and pressure resulting from any impacts on the shoulders are distributed evenly, rather than concentrated in a single point.

MULTIPLE DENSITY EPS
The TLD laboratory technicians identified the points where the impacts occur with greater intensity and intervened in the internal laying of the helmet reinforcing it with EPS of different densities. This allows Troy Lee Designs helmets to provide maximum protection during both low-speed and high-speed impacts. This helmet model is also equipped with a collarbone protection system while the X-Static® and XT2® interiors are antibacterial and anti-odor for optimal comfort.

MAXIMUM VENTILATION
The D4 helmet ensures maximum ventilation thanks to 24 ventilation holes, 10 front entry holes and 5 above the head. 7 output holes.
