BELLUS is the first model to adapt HJC's SLID (Sliding Layer Impact Distribution) technology to minimize rotational impact on the brain in the event of a fall.
HJC has developed an internal component by adding a special GEL material. SLID is located inside the helmet to reduce the amount of energy transmitted to the brain by providing a rotating function. The advanced GEL material inside the SLID liner has fluid properties. This allows to minimize impact forces and energy to the brain by dispersing the impact.
