Does what you want, well. A bit expensive, but it's worth it for the peace of mind. I think USB-C is a great feature, and the colour is nice too. Battery life is great, and you can recharge from a portable charger just like your phone.

This product is amazing for long off the grid treks . Stay intouch with everyone navigation is good i recommend connecting it to your phone for easier use . Only down side is the battery life . if your going out for more than a week take a solar charge pack with you as the battery doesnt last 2 long

Great piece of mind for your self and loved ones. The plans are a touch on the expensive side. But ultimately something like this is pure insurance. Hopefully you never need it. But if you do, you probably really do. The texting feature is nice as well.
