Bitubo XXZ31 rear shock absorber, a fully adjustable racing component for Ducati Hypermotard 1100 motorcycle models.

Compatibility with the following Ducati models:
Ducati Hypermotard 1100 (2007-2009).
Ducati Hypermotard 1100 S (2007-2009).
Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO (2010-2012).

The Bitubo XXZ31 shock absorber is a gas-pressurized shock with a separate compensation reservoir (integrated reservoir), designed to offer driving precision, increased grip, and uniform tire wear thanks to the instant control of forces at play.

Derived from the multi-victorious XXF, the Mono XXZ, previously reserved only for our Official Teams, confirms itself as technologically top-notch, presenting itself with a completely renewed design bringing many technical innovations, such as the 4 adjustments: compression and rebound at low and high speeds, with new settings designed to give the rider the best possible feeling.

Internally, it renews with technical solutions that optimize the smoothness of moving parts, improve the damping coefficient, and increase stability at high temperatures, without forgetting the use of lightweight materials to reduce overall weight. The Ø14mm shaft increases smoothness while the Ø30mm piston reduces the masses of fluid in motion for a faster response to stresses, particular attention has been paid to maximizing the sensitivity and precision of adjustments. XXZ is designed to reduce inertia and ensure immediate control of suspension oscillations.

Technology: Advanced hydraulic system with Ø30 mm Ergal piston and Ø14 mm shaft with low friction surface treatment for a faster response to stresses.

Adjustments: Offers micrometric tuning to adapt to every track and riding style, with adjustments accessible from the top of the shock absorber.

Compression: Dual adjustment (high and low speeds).
Rebound: Dual adjustment.
Spring preload: Hydraulic, continuous.
Wheelbase (length): Adjustable, with a range up to 8 mm.

The GOAL is to provide the rider with driving precision and increased grip never experienced before and uniform tire wear thanks to the instant control of forces at play. This gives the rider maximum support in curves even at extreme lean angles, fast direction changes, maximum confidence in throttle opening on all types of tracks, perfect rear-end stability even in the most violent braking.
