Motorcycle manufacturers equip exhaust systems with lambda sensors to measure the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. The ECU calculates the value measured by the sensor and, if necessary, dynamically adjusts the air-fuel ratio for two main reasons: to keep emissions as low as possible and to maintain fuel consumption as low as possible.
However, keeping emissions low usually means that the fueling is too lean, mainly in the lower rpm range, resulting in uneven power delivery, delayed throttle response, and a jerky feel.
Disconnecting the lambda sensor from the main wiring of the bike will immediately trigger the FI light.
The OS Eliminator will eliminate the FI light as soon as you connect it to the sensor connector. Since the OSE is delivered with bike-specific plugs, no splicing or other modifications to the bike's original wiring are necessary.
