Product information
The Brembo 78B40888 is a front floating brake disc from the Serie Oro line. It represents the ideal choice for motorcyclists looking for a replacement perfectly interchangeable with original equipment components, ensuring the high reliability and build quality typical of the brand.
The disc is made of a perforated stainless steel braking band to optimize thermal dissipation and pad cleanliness, connected via drive pins to a CNC-machined anodized aluminum alloy hub. This floating structure allows the disc to expand freely under thermal stress, eliminating deformations and offering consistent, modulable, and vibration-free braking.
Main technical specifications:
• Outer diameter: 320 mm
• Thickness: 5.0 mm
• Inner centering diameter: 64 mm
• Number of mounting holes: 6 holes (hole diameter 8.5 mm)
Important compatibility note: The code 78B40888 is designed to be installed ONLY and exclusively on models equipped with original BMW HP forged wheels.
The price is for one disc only; if the motorcycle requires 2 discs, you need to purchase 2 discs.
This specific code is developed for BMW supersport models but requires careful attention to wheel configuration. It is mainly mounted on:
• BMW HP4 (from 2012 to 2014)
• BMW S 1000 RR (from 2015 to 2018)
• BMW S 1000 R (from 2017 onwards)
